Pros

Environment is very supportive if you try to balance work and family - you can work from home occasionally, you can take vacation when it works for you and comparing to software companies you will not be over-worked

Cons

Management simply has no clue what they are doing. They are changing direction every few months. Tools and techniques used to manage work are simply antique. If you want to grow professionally and maintain certain level of knowledge - stay away.
