Pros

1. Truly international environment. 2. Nice colleagues. 3. Prior to covid crisis there were plenty of development courses available for employees.

Cons

1. Hyper political and bureaucratic environment (not as flat as it is proclaimed in various media channels). 2. Super big and slow machine (part of Airbus) when it comes to decision making. Implementation takes forever and often fails or is stopped. 3. Each member of the top management team is pursuing their own unaligned agenda instead of doing what is right for the company's long term growth. Constant power fights in the top management are very visible. Micromanagement by the CEO on all levels - sometimes comes across arrogantly. There is an overall lack of bigger vision that employees would genuinely follow. The CEO is playing an Airbus political “song” where it makes sense or not for the Satair business to secure his next career move within the group. The CEO is not a commercially driven person and not interested in people as human beings. Other ELT members are close to the retirement age and not willing to take any risks and invest in innovative solutions that may either fail or disrupt existing business. 4. Company culture is not geared for innovation. It is built on compliance fundamentals rather than trust. 5. Lack of support of women in leadership even though it is continuously addressed by employees. This is a men club with big egos that is very difficult to get in or break through. 6. Company does not truly care about nurturing its talents, nor making efforts to attract them from the market. Human capital is not a priority of the company strategy but lean operational processes. This results in very average overall employees proficiency and sets of knowledge besides few exceptions.

Pros

Exciting industry, but they advertise as Airbus until you get an offer

Cons

Gaslighting is prevalent. Ageism is rampant. Very little opportunity for advancement. Favoritism is key and management pretends to be caring but will turn on you in a heartbeat if you actually open up to them with an issue.
