Thank you for sharing your perspective. We’re pleased to hear you value your colleagues, benefits, and work–life balance, and we appreciate your openness about areas where your experience has changed over time. Our hybrid way of working is designed to support a high‑performance, people‑centred culture. While managers are open to discussing adjustments where there’s a clear case, time spent in the office is intended to strengthen connections, expand networks, and create opportunities for collaboration that can support development and career progression. On career growth, we encourage you to explore the Sage Talent Marketplace, where colleagues can take on short‑term gigs, connect with mentors, and explore different career paths. Career journeys aren’t always linear, and many colleagues have built meaningful “squiggly careers” by gaining experience across teams. For additional support, our Talent Acquisition team is also available for career conversations. If you’d like to share more specific feedback on leadership, we encourage you to do so via our internal Always Listening survey so it can be reviewed appropriately. Thank you for taking the time to contribute your views. They help inform ongoing conversations about how we continue to evolve as an organisation.

Pros

was hired as remote and get to have that honored, but have been openly told no career progression because of remote status. decent pay

Cons

Leadership instability: Seven manager changes during my relatively short tenure. Unrealistic targets: A sales quota set at 1,100% growth (not a typo). Slow product development: Getting anything actioned on the product side takes far too long. Product management turnover: Three product manager changes, resulting in no meaningful deliverables in over three years. Misaligned hiring priorities: Greater emphasis on DEI optics than on hiring people positioned to drive growth. Internal vs. customer focus: More energy spent on internal events than on product enhancements. Lack of accountability (the biggest issue): No one takes ownership. Responsibility gets passed around constantly — for example, client cancellations going unprocessed because they impact someone's numbers. Managers have openly encouraged pushing the work onto someone else rather than handling it.
