Pros

The company has a fantastic, people-centered culture. Colleagues are kind, and there’s a clear effort to make employees feel valued. Internal events foster collaboration and connection, and there are numerous opportunities to grow into diverse roles. There’s a strong commitment to developing talent from within, which creates a sense of long-term investment in employees.

Cons

The company is less competitive compared to U.S. software firms, especially in terms of pace and mindset. This could be a risk in the long run, as transformation efforts are slowed down by complexity and inertia. While leadership pushes for change and innovation, the organizational structure and culture often struggle to keep up.

Pros

The people at SAP are genuinely nice, and the culture is generally supportive. The work-life balance is good to an extent, but when you're busy, you're BUSY. SAP is highly complex so expect to take a year to ramp up.

Cons

Only way to get a high salary is if you're hired externally. They do not reward employees who are loyal to the company. Closed opportunities often have to go through the Compensation Exception Committee, creating uncertainty around earnings. Prepare for constant change, whether that's solutions being removed from your sales bag, account shifts, territory realignments, or changing compensation policies. Quotas can be difficult to attain
