Pros

Working environment is indeed very nice. Ergonomic desks and seats. Colleagues are very kind and helpful. Possibilities to develop you knowledge through learning. Lots of workshops.

Cons

Salary is not competitive at all. Dispite management thinks it is. (compared to market they pay approx 15-20% less. And year by year increase is not close to expected levels. (One reason why experienced ppl are leaving company). Decisions from high level are cut away from operational levels. Therefor tasks and processes are sometimes chaotic. Experienced ppl are leaving the company, and fluctuation rate is high. Knowledge is getting lost year by year. It's a pitty.

SAP Response

We're sorry to hear that the team did not work out for you when you worked at SAP. Thanks to continuous monitoring, SAP's salaries are, in fact, competitive in the market. SAP takes a tremendous amount of care in maintaining stringent employee pay procedures, and keeps a close eye on our internal processes to ensure high employee trust and satisfaction. Whilst we strongly dispute your allegation, employee feedback is of great importance to us and we will ensure that your feedback is communicated to the relevant department.

Pros

The people at SAP are genuinely nice, and the culture is generally supportive. The work-life balance is good to an extent, but when you're busy, you're BUSY. SAP is highly complex so expect to take a year to ramp up.

Cons

Only way to get a high salary is if you're hired externally. They do not reward employees who are loyal to the company. Closed opportunities often have to go through the Compensation Exception Committee, creating uncertainty around earnings. Prepare for constant change, whether that's solutions being removed from your sales bag, account shifts, territory realignments, or changing compensation policies. Quotas can be difficult to attain
