Pros

Great company-wide business model which gives a sense of job security. Tons of intelligent, driven, fun scientists and engineers to work with and excellent networking. For me it was a great place to discover my strengths and weaknesses as a worker because of the wide array of project opportunities I had. Good company, good culture, oh, and good PTO and retirement benefits.

Cons

This is on a per office basis. Company-wise, it was my favorite consulting firm I had worked for, and I had worked for a couple big name firms prior to Ramboll. No overtime is sort of a bummer especially when you are doing 60 hour field work weeks. I personally had a manager that also really seemed to give all field staff that worked for her a hard time when it came to billing to her projects and approving expenses. But again, overall as a company, not really any major cons that stick out to me.

Pros

A wide variety of projects and some level of autonomy when it comes to types of projects you want to work for

Cons

No consideration for employee's talent, feedbacks often just focused on negatives so they can fire you the minute you don't show "yes boss" attitude. They are not doing well revenue wise and newly hired ones are let go first, citing "performance was not good". When you first join, they tell you not to worry about billable hours for the first 3-6 months, especially when the overall consulting work load was low across the board. But then they fire you for the same reason. Some managers are very kind and supportive when they give you feedback, but if you are unlucky, your reporting manager will use that feedback against you and fire you and not say anything positive. Low compensation.
