Pros
Salaries are good if you don't live in San Diego. Flexible work schedules and 'unlimited' vacation days.
Cons
Untracked vacation days have no real value and vacations are at the discretion of your management. C-level people make huge decisions based on 3-month market outlooks and are usually short on long term strategy. Qualcomm survives by the momentum of their wireless modems and licensing, not by thoughtful innovation into new markets.
