Pros

The pay and benefits are actually good.

Cons

The manager is not skilled to run such a facility. He's not capable of making the right decisions on the spot. I've learnt from the very beginning that everything is based on whether or not they like you. If they like you, you could get away with coming in late everyday(they would change the schedule in the books so it looks like they're coming in at the right time), you could just stand around and not do anything. If they don't like you, get ready to be criticized for every little thing, get ready to run an entire area by yourself and get reprimanded by the leads when you complain about it. Everybody in that place is a snake and cannot be trusted. Don't try to make friends, if they're nice to you, it's only because they think they're getting something in return. The workload can be ridiculous if you're actually a good worker. There has been so many occasions where the hardest worker is forced to work in an area all by themselves which can be the worse thing ever when you're forced to fix 9 robots, plus run up and down a flight of stairs. Somehow you still get criticized if a robot is down. If you're not good or a lazy worker(which they're are plenty) they'd actually make sure they schedule multiple people to help out. Good Luck if you decide to take the risk and accept the job. The turnover rate is ridiculous.

Pros

Good compensation including not just standard pay, but also end of year bonus 80 hours for hourly associates, 8% of your annual earnings granted to you in free company stock thru which quarterly dividends are paid, ok 401k, and gift card and other associate coupons. Good stability and growth. Good company culture.

Cons

Can be slow and resistant to change. Uses some antiquated systems and software that should have been replaced years ago. Does some things that don't make sense. Some managers can be good, while others not very good. Although these cons may be true for a lot of companies. All roads eventually lead to Lakeland where they are headquartered. Geography can be a big one if you are not a Florida native. If you don't want to live in Florida for some legitimate reasons, there can be limited job options in other states, especially if you aren't interested in retail or warehouse jobs. Standard retail negatives about not having a lot of holidays off.
