Pros
I joined Personio wanting to do the best work of my career and I feel like I'm close to that, if not there already. My role is challenging without being overwhelming, my manager has loads of experience managing teams like ours, and I'm really happy working with the people on my team every day. On the company level, Personio has strong values, news is communicated honestly and openly, and feedback of all kinds (including upward) is welcomed and encouraged. I also feel like I'm better compensated than I would be at other companies of this size and stage.
Cons
The amount of change in the past few months has been huge. A lot of it is much needed, but at times it's felt like too much all at once. I'm confident that it will all be for the best, but there are understandably some ups and downs along the way. The strong culture from the Munich office doesn't quite transfer to the other spaces, and the London office can be on the quiet side, but I see this is an area they're investing in and it is getting better.
