Pros
Talented, collaborative and kind colleagues at the IC and lower management level.
Cons
Lack of strategic vision, empathy, and awareness in senior leadership. We can all understand that conditions change, strategy needs to change, and priorities with it, etc. What we don't understand is the total lack of accountability and transparency on the leadership side in communicating these changes - nor the total carelessness around how these changes impact individual employees and teams, both in their day-to-day experience, in their career, and in their personal lives. Exec team members are literally laughing and making jokes about people's very serious questions in "ask me anything" sessions, which are mostly pointless anyways because questions are never answered directly nor honestly. There was no acknowledgement or apology for this behavior, and many found it offensive Senior leadership seems more concerned about saving face than deeply understanding problems, supporting their employees to develop real solutions, driving concrete results. What was once motivating and inspiring company to work for has deteriorated into a professional graveyard for anyone who "cares to challenge" - apparently a retired Personio principle. You'll get slapped on the wrist for following process and not delivering the expected (impossible) results. You'll also get slapped on the wrist for trying to improve processes. So it really leaves most employees feeling demotivated, trapped, and more recently fearful for job security given the recent layoffs.
