Pros

I work in the UK office (in Cambridge). Almost everything is a pro here. The problems are always challenging, and the managers do not push you to deliver, but still they have a good view of the team, thus they know if someone needs some help. The work-life balance is astonishing. 5:30 sharp is possible to go home, none never asked me to stay after business hours (although I admit that I tend to stay late since I love what I do). People are always nice, competent and humble. You can ask everything to everyone and they always try to help. Finally there is a constant push for learning and improving. Book-clubs, trainining, courses and so on. Anyone passionate about math and programming should join us!

Cons

Maybe the only drawback (in my opinion) is the lack of papers that we publish, making MathWors not extremely a research oriented company.

Pros

The company places a strong emphasis on continuous learning and professional growth, with clear encouragement for employees to develop their skills over time. There are frequent, fun company events that help build connections across teams and contribute to a genuinely friendly and collaborative culture. Overall, the organization takes a very staff-focused approach, prioritizing employee well-being and fostering an environment where people feel supported and valued.

Cons

With a globally distributed workforce, it can sometimes be challenging to coordinate schedules or connect in person with colleagues.

Pros

Strong work-life balance; reasonable hours and low burnout Smart, helpful colleagues and collaborative culture Stable company with solid products (MATLAB/Simulink) Good benefits and campus perks (food, gym, etc.)

Cons

Development pace can feel slow and process-heavy May not be ideal if you’re optimizing for fast career growth, cutting-edge tech, or top-tier compensation.
