Pros
I came to MBDA to cover a maternity leave and I never left! I have worked in several places, both private and public sector, and I can honestly say this is by far the best place I have worked. Not only is MBDA a successful business, they also place a huge value on their people. I have always felt supported, encouraged and well compensated (pay and benefits). With our dynamic working arrangements, I can succeed at work and at being a parent. My roles over the years have always been interesting, varied and there has always been great support and encouragement for me to develop. It's so reassuring to know that, if I ever feel that I need a change, I can have a discussion openly with my manager and together we will find a path to bring me a new challenge.
Cons
Some say that our pay isn't as high as other companies but I personally haven't found this to be the case. My salary is very generous and our annual increases have seen this stay above the average for roles like mine.
