      Pros

      MBDA really cares about their people and they want to make sure you are well-supported. This includes wanting to continuously develop their people. They are actively investing in infrastructure and expanding at present (Jan 2025). There are lots of opportunities to move up, diagonally, or sideways on the career ladder internally.

      Cons

      It's the defence industry, so there an interesting duality of the cutting-edge and yet risk aversion. The company wants to go fast, but also can't because of the processes that we are required to adhere to. Sometimes, tools are a bit dated. The multi-national structure hinders things I feel, because certain decisions have to be agreed across the five national companies, which is hard to do sometimes.

      An international company that gives you amazing opportunities for international exposure (either short or long term secondment in France, UK, Italy or Germany). MBDA regroups the best of each country’s culture to make those national differences a strength developing a strong Cultural Intelligence (CQ). Huge sense of belonging working in an innovative environment in order to develop, produce and deliver cutting edge technologies within our products for our nationals and export customers. Fantastic work life balance opportunities with hybrid working pattern.

      Cons

      Due to the nature of our products (Defence) it might sometimes be difficult or inappropriate sharing our day to day job achievements or successes outside the company.

      Fantastic company to work for. Great Benefits. Relaxed Atmosphere 90% of the time.

      Cons

      Pay could have been much better. Not much room for growth.
