Pros

We have a footprint in every State and most countries, Our products are high quality and tend to outlast many brands. Johnson Controls using Simplex Fire Alarm products can integrate with building systems and can network and accomplish very complex operations when most fire alarm brands cannot. Our design and CAD end results are very professional. JCFP has a team of highly qualified NICET techs.

Cons

Not everyone can afford Simplex by Johnson Controls so it is difficult for sales people because we are not marketing to all markets. It is quite a complex process to deal with JCFP as a subcontractor and sometimes there are internal challenges because of how large of a company JCI is.

Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
