Pros

- Good pay for internship in indy area (most of my other offers were at least 5 dollars less per hour) - Remote work is available (might not be once things are back to normal from covid) - Chance to work on implementing a cool project

Cons

Not a lot of interaction with higher ups. You will mostly succeed or fail based on what you can learn in a short time. You will probably only meet with a mentor once a week for a few minutes, which really isn't enough time for you to complete a project that requires you to learn a completely new set of skills.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. At Infosys, we want to create the best possible experience for our interns, and we are thrilled that the pay, remote work option, and projects were positive aspects of your experience. Regarding interaction with higher level management, we are sorry you do not feel the company does well in those areas. We take your feedback seriously and will take a close look to determine what can be improved.

Pros

Job stability – Infosys is known for long-term employment and steady projects. Strong brand value – Having Infosys on your resume adds credibility and global recognition. Good learning opportunities – Access to internal learning platforms, certifications, and training programs (especially for freshers). Global exposure – Opportunities to work with international clients and global delivery teams. Structured processes – Well-defined policies, documentation, and governance. Work-life balance (project dependent) – Many teams offer reasonable working hours. Employee benefits – Health insurance, paid leaves, and wellness initiatives. Safe and inclusive workplace – Strong focus on ethics, compliance, and diversity.

Cons

Salary growth can be slow – Compensation increments may be lower compared to market standards. Limited flexibility in role changes – Internal mobility and project switches can take time. Bureaucratic processes – Decision-making can be slow due to multiple approval layers. Project allocation delays – Bench time and delayed onboarding to projects can happen. Variable learning exposure – Skill growth depends heavily on the project assigned. Less innovation in some teams – Certain projects may use legacy technologies. Onsite opportunities are limited – Compared to earlier years, onsite roles are fewer. Performance appraisal transparency – Rating systems may feel rigid or unclear.
