Pros

The hours are extremely flexible, and they give you any days you request off. As a guy you get experience as a cashier, sales associate, hanging rugs, doing carryouts, processing merchandise, unloading the truck, your everywhere! So it looks good on resumés.

Cons

Management does not train their employees, and multiple managers and coordinators boss you around to do things for them all at once and if you hesitate or do something wrong they go insane! The pay is only 8.00 and the raises for every year are only 15 cents. Coordinators only make 9-11 dollars . Everyones always in a bad mood. The girls get treated like royalty doing nothing and the guys have to carry out heavy merchandise, get carts, take down rugs, and work the trucks, and the girls don't do any of that!

Pros

it is a job if you desperately need one

Cons

management does not keep promises (e.g. I was promised $2 higher pay upon accepting the position and later was told it wasn't feasible anymore once starting. I was also promised a specific day off then last minute had it revoked because they decided to make it a mandatory day). management does not listen to or care about its employees, very unprofessional. store managers don't want to do anything to help, they just sit in the office. management let other employees slack off and do nothing and expected others to compensate for their lack of effort general manager was horribly rude and misogynistic. he threw a box at someone while visiting.
