Pros

1. Most of the projects in GlobalLogic use recent technologies. So learing curve is pretty good

Cons

1. Poor job security. Clients are typically startup companies and hence projects are of very short duration. Once your project is over you may be asked to leave anyday if there are not enough projects in pipeline 2. Poor worklife balance and absurd deadlines. Working 12-14 hours a day and working on weekends is pretty common. 3. Poor training infrastructure : Since most of GlobalLogic clients are small organisations hence mostly they work on very recent technologies. However, there's hardly any training facility for employees (Most of the trainings are internal where the person who is supposed to be the trainer is still learning the technology) 4. Management barely has any respect for technical resources 5. Compensation isnt that bad but its just about industry average. Considering the fact you'll work 20% harder in GlobalLogic compared to other organisations in the same business, you can safely assume that you are underpaid 6. Even though GlobalLogic claims to have a open and flexible work culture, reality is pretty different. It might be more open and flexible compared to other bulk recruiters in outsourcing business, but compared to most product development MNCs, its just a sweatshop

Pros

Offered remote work. Other than that, nothing.

Cons

Incredibly disorganized from onboarding to the recent mass layoffs of both contractors and full-time employees. The culture within the project I worked on was prone to toxic corporate politics, and the guidelines for the work performed were often vague and shifting. I can only assume this is indicative of the larger environment Gobal Logic cultivates, but it's hard to tell as their website includes nothing but word salad around what they actually do or the services they provide. Leadership constantly changed the goalpost meaning no one could truly learn or succeed. The airplane was being built as it was being flown, essentially. New tools were consistently introduced and then changed when it was found they were ineffective and the client was not being given the results they demanded. It almost felt at times as if the project was being internally sabotaged, though I'm not sure what the benefit of that would be. While not a scam, there is no hope of upward mobility, and you can be let go at a moment's notice. The instability and culture of fear they create is absolutely intentional, and you'd be better off working elsewhere for the sake of your mental health. I don't foresee this company having any tangible longevity given how poorly it's run.
