Pros

Great people, very good benefits, allows time off when needed, competitive pay, regular company events, nice offices, business casual dress code, growing company which has managed well during tough economic times.

Cons

advancement potential limited, outdated systems, poor communication from management, no job training-mostly because managers are too busy, lack of respect from senior management to associates in some cases. The company values are posted everywhere and get a lot of lip service but are not regularly adhered to by management. Many people overwhelmed and stressed by their heavy workload. Most senior level executives are micro managers.

Pros

The job itself is easy. The cash register, stocking (especially the totes and dry truck) and cleaning are so simple however there are certain things that make it difficult, although the work itself is not (under the right circumstances.)

Cons

They never have enough people on shift so it’s always difficult to get things done. It seems like all the managers I know from the store I worked at and the surrounding ones are all so deep into drama it made me wonder if I was back in high school. Dry truck always seems to bring far too much and the stores are so little that overstock is a huge issue here. The reason I ultimately left was due to severe mistreatment and some safety concerns I had regarding some past experiences. I am very glad I left and I would not ever go back.
