Pros

Hiring process start with apply online and complete the assessment test, then, three days later got a call from SM for face-to-face interview which went well. She was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. Ask me questions about how to handle customer, what integrity means to you, what dependable means, and how to handle difficult customer. I answered the best I can. She gave me overview of the job responsibility of an Asst Store Manager, how important in minimizing shrink in the store, and maintaining store. Then, she called me again and offered me the job, then sent me the new hire packet/express hiring to do online. FIlled out all the necessary info and took a drug test that day(on a Tuesday), as well as they will check my background. A week later, also on a Tuesday, I got a call that I passed the drug test and background check, and told me to show up and fill out paperwork and started training that day. I was very, very happy that I got the job. I've been waiting for a week and they finally called me. Thanks to the wonderful Store Manager who kept me informed and I will working with her which I looked forward to.

Cons

The store is short-handed, and the store need a lot of work in being more presentable to customers.

Pros

The job itself is easy. The cash register, stocking (especially the totes and dry truck) and cleaning are so simple however there are certain things that make it difficult, although the work itself is not (under the right circumstances.)

Cons

They never have enough people on shift so it’s always difficult to get things done. It seems like all the managers I know from the store I worked at and the surrounding ones are all so deep into drama it made me wonder if I was back in high school. Dry truck always seems to bring far too much and the stores are so little that overstock is a huge issue here. The reason I ultimately left was due to severe mistreatment and some safety concerns I had regarding some past experiences. I am very glad I left and I would not ever go back.
