Capgemini Engineering Response

Dear former colleague, thank you for your rating on our glassdoor profile. I am pleased that you have fond memories of the exciting project world at Capgemini Engineering in a multi-cultural team. You also rated our extensive online courses on our comprehensive learning platform positively. However, I can see that there were also topics that you were not satisfied with. I would like to know more about what specifically led to your displeasure so that we can make improvements. Please feel free to contact me by e-mail: diana.solinc@capgemini.com I wish you all the best. Kind regards, Diana

Pros

- Standard benefits - Depending on the team you're on, can be a relatively easygoing environment - Ample vacation time, generally readily approved

Cons

- Far, FAR below market wage - No yearly raises or even discussion. With inflation, I'm making less now than I did previously. - Zero room for advancement (see below) - You can be a superstar for the client but that translates into no actual benefits pay or promotion wise at Capgemini - they're entirely unrelated. - My manager basically forgot I exist for over a year which means no discussion about performance, promotion, raises, etc - Opaque processes around pay, promotion, etc - Come here if you want your career and paycheck to stagnate and die - Zero appreciation or acknowledgement from the Capgemini team with the client - there's no carrot and stick, just the stick. No real reason to go above and beyond.
