Pros

They make renderings for projects

Cons

I worked in CallisonRTKL and several other companies, and when I compare them to other companies, they are lacking in MANY areas. They are not spending time developing the projects, they just want to finish and send it over. The only thing they spend time is rendering which could be done by any artist. When we send the project to city, they have tones of comments, they tell us why you violated all the codes and zoning because the management doesn't want to solve those, and they don't even know these codes exist!! The vice president just care about cosmetics which create thousands of problems down the line. I just got tired to tell them we need to spend time on codes, zoning, performance, accessibility, sustainability, and not just renderings.

Thank you for your feedback. While you are no longer at CRTKL, we appreciate your unique perspective about how we managed our projects. We have expert architects in zoning, codes, and accessibility, and quite a strong team in sustainable design--headed by Pablo LaRoche. We wish you luck as you transition to other employment opportunities and develop in your professional career.

Pros

* Opportunities to work on international projects and for new employees to freely share their ideas. * Leadership that not only guides design but also supports employees in becoming better professionals and people. * A great LA office environment with a fitting salary. * An office team with excellent skills and knowledge, and great teams that are easy to work with.

Cons

It seems that incorporating more trend-forward designs could lead to even better results, but as a newcomer, I found it challenging to overcome the established methods and the specific direction and style clients wanted. Nonetheless, they consistently delivered solid outcomes.
