Pros
Pay and RSUs are very generous for Sales and Sales Engineering positions, much higher than other companies
Cons
The high pay combined with ruthless continual layoffs of former VMware people results in a constant feeling of being trapped in a golden prison. You know that you could be the next person kicked out the door, but you also know you're not going to find a similar salary at other software companies. No feeling of sympathy or empathy from upper management, they only care about "what have you done today to increase shareholder value?"
