Pros
Broadcom is a relatively well positioned company in the field. Work time is somewhat flexible. Considering stock based compensation, the pay-grade is so far pretty good.
Cons
Broadcom is famous for it's heavy work load. However, it is not as crazy as before, for better or worse. Because the stock based compensation is also diminishing.
