      Pros

      As VMware, great benefits, great culture. A vendor of choice. As Broadcom - good pay, great options packages. But a vendor that people deal with because they have no other choice.

      Cons

      Bought out by Broadcom, who then did exactly all the things Broadcom was known for (despite all the promises to the contrary).
