A bunch of friends in high position scamming the headquarter - CSE Booking.com Employee Review

Pros

You meet great colleagues from all over the world

Cons

All the necessary steps are avoidable if you have an affair or are a friend of management. It's quite common to hear a Team Leader getting a position without knowing anything about the structure of the company, just because HR thinks he's/she's cute. Works Council is a lie, they are on the hand of management and even a member of HR is part of Works council. Team Leaders can be power-sick, they lie to you in order to keep your numbers so they results are good, but later on they'll fire you because they don't like who you are (didn't happened to me because I decided to quit). When you come to work you need to live the lie that you are happy at work, but after 3 months you know how sick the office is and you'll just stay because you can't speak German so there aren't a lot of job opportunities.
