Non-foreigners Acceptance - Marketing BMW Group Employee Review

If you don't speak German, it's difficult to keep the conversation going during team meetings. The HR department sends you the contract in German and communicates with you in German, even though they know they're hiring people who don't speak German. As it's a big company, I thought there might be German classes for those who are foreigners and would like to feel integrated into the community, but there aren't any. Interviews are always held with department directors or sector managers, never with human resources, who specialise in analysing people and assessing their abilities. So the interviews end up being more subjective and according to what the managers like. People are always sick and is easy to see who really works and who is lazy. If people apply for jobs that don't require German, then they could at least communicate in English. There are few portals that are in English.
