Pros

As a direct, you have great benefits, vacation, sick, disability, work from home, etc.... The work is not that hard and the pace is relatively easy with little pressure.

Cons

This company has a history of firing large groups of employees and then turning around and hiring in other areas. This is typically based on the ebbs and flows of specific industry/business areas profitability. They do attempt to find "holes" for employees slated to be fired but they are usually positions well underneath ones skill set and experience. The other critical issue with this company is that they do very little to promote and foster career growth. Oh they say that this is a priority and they even have had many formal HR career initiatives but they really go nowhere and they just end up being someones objective on their performance review. Additionally, there's an abundance of ineffectual managers who would rather play politics then to make ETHICAL decisions.

Pros

Great benefits, hybrid & remote roles, great colleagues to work with. Great vacation /time off. Helpful colleagues

Cons

Reorganizations (roughly 3 years), IT roles dwindling in North America(moving to India), teams can get very silo-ed, “not my role” = not helping you (when you are looking for answers/assistance), currently seeing a lot of movement out of New Jersey (roles moving to other parts of the country), some organizational charts can be confusing, huge organization(can be difficult at times pinpointing the exact team you may need to work with)
