This is great and makes for a good work environment. The salaries are very competitive and the overall compensation package is very attractive.
Cons
There are a lot of inefficiencies, waste and complexity in the organization. The various business units operate in silos and the leaders are not always concerned with the health of the company overall, but are more concerned with their own division. It is very difficult for a new employee to learn to navigate the many layers of the business. Your support teams are very often located in different parts of the world and it makes it difficult to know who is responsible for what aspect of the business.
