Cutthroat culture. The top priority is finding one or more coworkers you can throw under the bus to protect your own position. The Amazon Leadership Principles are often touted and celebrated, but they are weaponized, cherry-picked and used against you even more often than that. Frequent re-orgs and poor vesting schedule reflect the odds an employee will still be there after 2-3 years. Very poor work-life balance.
