Big group = lots of inertia Despite lots of task about mobility there are lots of job hoggers Need personal network to progress (not merit based) No new programmes in sight so refocus on processes in main group companies Decreasing opportunities for progression due to reduction in middle management positions/tighter rules regarding promotions Department culture very dependent on boss (personality, nationality, etc) - big variations across services and the company
