Pros

E.ON is a forward thinking company who are always looking for new opportunities and are willing to invest time and money into staff who show potential, and then reward the hard work of their staff through good wages and career enhancement.

Cons

Whilst constantly looking for the best deal from suppliers of services saves money for the company in terms of financial costs, the cost in time and frustration to the staff may not always be taken into account. Constantly changing service providers and their associated systems can start become a drain on time resources, distracting staff from their core business roles.

Pros

The people, the pay, the generous pension scheme, the excellent employee benefits and experience days.

Cons

Shift work. The managers are all very clicky so you can't raise a grievance without it getting back to your line manager (especially if it's about your line manager). Everything takes so long; I waited 6 weeks for my employee ID card and the request for my PKI token (a USB drive which allows you to access payslips, book holidays etc) was never processed so I had to do this myself. Your time at E.ON is very dependant on the manager you're placed with.

Pros

They do like to be seen to be doing the right thing and do encourage personal development. How good they are can depend on what department you are in. Very keep to be no one trusted energy partner and work genuinely hard on this. Friendly

Cons

communication, they have their own language, obsolete slow systems, one hand does not know the other is doing, finding information, assessment process, HR, very process driven and stifle imaginative & creative thinking. Alot of confusion lower down. Do not shout about their ECO suceess
