Pros

Professional office setting Outstanding work equipment Yearly bonuses Great Team members and collegues Free Parking Onsite canteen

Cons

Toxic work environment Low progression opportunities Holidays are not awarded according to when you request them in the system even if you have requested your holiday a year in advance. They always seem to have some excuse to not award the days you want to be off and change the days you've inputed into the system without notifying you.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are pleased to read your list of pros on working at E.ON and enjoyed the office and the people you worked with. We are however extremely passionate on providing an environment where our teams can learn and develop and we are seriously concerned to hear you felt there was low progression and lacking a good environment during your time working with us. We are constantly striving to improve our processes and appreciate your views as this helps us keep on improving the employee experience. If you’d be happy to discuss any aspects in more detail, please contact us via the employerbranduk@eonenergy.com mailbox. We wish you all the best for the future and for your career going forward. Kind Regards, E.ON UK Careers Team

Pros

Good coffee machine. The office was nice, modern, and it was kept clean.

Cons

Just do yourself a favour if you are considering working at E.ON - and move your focus elsewhere. If you do join, you will have your mental health systematically and steadily destroyed with no regard. You are recorded from all angles, your screen is recorded, your calls are recorded, the time you spent on the toilet is recorded. You WILL be approached if you are a minute or two late back from a break or are using the toilet "too much". These conditions can only be described as dystopian and prison-like. You will have customer calls fired at you constantly from the start of your shift to the end, with no chance of a breather. You will be verbally and emotionally abused by customers and you will not have an opportunity to offload this later, or to challenge it. You will just have to take the next call and be abused again. Your manager will likely do nothing to help, and will make everything worse by micro-analysing everything you do. The team managers seem to do very little actual work. There is no hope here. The toxic environment is intentionally left to fester, and it is damaging. For the good of your health, have nothing to do with E.ON.
