Pros

Great, intuitive product. Customers definitely see value in the solution

Cons

Salaries were far too low, quotas were far too high forcing many good people to leave the business. This may have changed with the new Enterprise Sales regime change early February, 2017.

Pros

- Some really great people and lifelong friendships were made - Fully stocked kitchen - Work-life balance (i.e. Work from home) - Location of SF office is really easy to get to via transit

Cons

- A very obvious lack of diversity starting from the C-level and in pretty much every department - Terrible maternity/paternity policy - it's the bare minimum for a tech company. It's actually pretty embarrassing when talking to other people in tech - Very political and lack of transparency from mid-level managers - Some very inappropriate behavior and comments from both female and male senior management to employees (and very little is done about it when reported) - In my experience - managers don't grow and mentor their staff to senior positions and instead hire in senior managers (that bring their own people)

Thank you for your detailed feedback. Our benefits team is looking at a couple of exciting programs which address some of the things you call out above. As far as diversity is concerned, DocuSign is always looking to do better. We have made great strides over the past two years and we have analyzed the data across hundreds of metrics because we are a government contractor (which our CEO and head of HR took the leadership team through yesterday) ... but of course there is always more work we can do to not only have diversity throughout but to be inclusive. We are working on training our managers to be better mentors and develop people. As for the inappropriate behavior, if you are ever open to sharing your thoughts on this, please reach out to Michael Erisman or Dan Feldstein. We also have an anonymous ethics hotline. I'd be happy to give you the number if you can no longer access our Code of Ethics. Thanks again and best of luck in your next gig! Ann Poletti
