Pros

Great Benefits - just announced 6 months mat leave! Amazing company culture, flexible work hours and wfh. Love the 3 days VTO (volunteer time off) as well. Incredibly generous with food/snacks and lunches from time to time. Wonderful job for a great work-life balance.

Cons

Opportunities in advancement and work load is highly reliant on who your manager is. Seems promotions are not a direct result of skill-set and ability, more of who you know which can be deflating. Still fall back on a "start-up" culture, but have had enough years to get more structure in place already.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts especially about our parental leave (not just mommies), flex work and VTO. I really appreciate all those as well. Good feedback on advancement opportunities and one that our new Chief People Officer, Joan Burke, is bound to look into.

Pros

DocuSign is the best company I have ever worked for. The pay, benefits and work life balance are all better than at most companies. What I like best is the people and the culture. Its great to work for a company that has so much potential, and with people who share a common goal.

Cons

The pace of change can be challenging. DocuSign has grown so fast that it has gone through 10 years worth of growing pains in the past 2 years. Sometimes these changes aren't communicated very well, or happen at the last minute.

A Company I'm Proud to Work For

Pros

As with any company that you would want to work for the best thing is the people. Management is genuinely dedicated to building a great company not just in terms of the software we build. The amount of work that we do with charities and non-profits gives a sense of higher purpose while still reaping the benefits that come with working for a for-profit institution. DocuSign treats employees very, very well. The benefits are great and stocked kitchens are a perk that is extremely nice to have.

Cons

As with any company there are resource constraints that can be frustrating. There are also communication issues sometimes between departments.

Thank you so much for writing a review. Your point about management trying to build a great company is spot on as is our purpose driven IMPACT work. You are not the only one who has raised intra-dept comms as an issue. How can we solve that? If you have ideas, please share them up to Joan Burke our new Chief People Officer.
