Execs out of touch

Pros

Mostly decent co-workers, but salaries are not great, and benefits cost more and more.

Cons

Draconian hybrid work arrangements have no manager discretion. More than half of the team is remote. There is zero benefit to sitting in a bull pen on video conference calls all day while all the people around you are doing the same. Tell Roger to sit in an open office and try to get his work done. Have him commute 40 miles each way to work and see how his morale is doing after a month.

A company that has lost its way and mind

Pros

Good benefits like 401k match (effectively 8%) and a decent number of holidays and days off

Cons

Draconian return to work policy (3 days in office) shines the light through the executive teams friendly facade. They dont care about results (record revenue the last 3 years) as much as strick control over their workforce. They're basically laying off 10-15% of the workforce without need to provide severance.

Pros

Great benefits for time off and 401k

Cons

They are taking away WFH from those who were hired and promised a remote position
