Pros

Good vacation time of 25 days, work life balance in control for half the year Seen a lot of people being here for decades also. not too much pressure to fix production issues as they linger around for around 3 months also. Good place for interns

Cons

Very old tools, processes. I bet you will get a job outside with these credentials. Top management is having absolutely no long term view. They just think for a month nothing more than that. Old timers(those who are here for one or two decades) will make others life miserable. These people neither do any work nor will let anybody do any other work. Almost 95% of these old timers cannot get a job outside. They are frustrated with their compensation and skill sets but they know very well that they won't even get 50% of this salary outside. They are very negative personalities. Boot licking of the managers is very much a norm out here. You will be very much surprised that company doesn't have any integrity or honesty with their shareholders, customers and employees. Whatever they offer the employees on offer letter - you actual work could be two or three level down after joining.

Pros

only positive is good amount of time off

Cons

Low salary. Bad management who is not willing to make improvements. When I made several suggestions to improve the business, I was shot down by management saying this is the way we always done it. Corporate technology is suck in the 80's, unwilling to upgrade to the latest technology. Management promotes people, who are severely inexperienced, once they are in the new positions, they make many bad decisions.

Pros

They have multiple spots to get food on their campus that are actually pretty good, lots of paid time off.

Cons

First off, you are required to take a drug test and fingerprints after you are hired (which is normal), however, I had to wait 2 hours just to get my fingerprints taken because you need an escort to go anywhere in the building if you don't have a badge yet and my hiring manager said she didn't feel like walking over to the other building to do that. Yes, that is literally what she said. So I sat there for 2 hours, without even going to the restroom because the security guard was extremely rude and wouldn't allow it without an escort. Mind you, this was after an hour and a half commute from the city. You are also required to sit in on a class about the building and security during the first week. The security guards roam the campus looking for anything suspicious. You're not even allowed to leave your cellphone out on your desk. Yes, there is a great sense of safety here, but it's also pretty unsettling. Most people seem to be happy and nice on the surface. There was a very nice and young talented girl who moved to the area with a contract to hire position and they let her go after a week without an explanation. They didn't even have the courage to say it to her face. They sent her an email on a Friday after she had left work. I found this absolutely revolting and cowardly. I have found a better opportunity in the city and I am glad to be leaving this miserable place after 10 months.
