      Pros

      Benefit package- aside from the friends I made, the benefits are the only reason I stayed.

      Cons

      They're all about stats, and numbers. They Dont care about the employees although they "claim" to. It's a very high stress high anxiety environment that makes you sick. Management is high strung and it push push push, changing stats all the time. My health is more important.

      Pros

      Wonderful co-workers! Discover offers a great chance to work with a very diverse, well educated workforce and there is a minimum of politics. Very straight forward atmosphere where pretty much everyone gets along and works together.

      Cons

      I hired in to a position that I was very over qualified for. That is great, except when management saw what I was capable of, they gave me Director level responsibilities without the title, pay or recognition. Discover makes everyone stay in grade for certain periods of time, despite your credentials or performance. As a result, they lose a lot of their top performers which is a shame.

      Good Benefits; casual dress code; work from home policy; generous PTO upon hire; gym for fee; nice campus.

      Cons

      Below market pay; operations run in silos; political in nature when it comes to advancement; difficult commute if you do not live nearby. There is a disconnect between stated work life balance and the true expectation.
