“Compensation at Deloitte is excellent. They seem to reward the top performers, but the average performers do just as well. Leadership needs to focus on truly differentiating between the 1s and 3s. Deloitte has some of the smartest people within industry, and they put out some great thought pieces. There's always an expert if you need one.”

“The pressure to make partner gets old after a while. Up or out used to work when consulting had the best talent the market had, but that has not been the case in the last few years. I have seen some great SMs leave because they did not want the pressure, and the high risk, of being a partner. There is definitely an old boy network at Deloitte. If people want you to succeed they will "give you numbers," and you will make it.”
