Pros
It is a very collaborative environment which promotes talent and hard working employees. There is an ability to recommend change and be heard even if not always acted upon. Flexible work arrangements are possible and an employer of choice is very important to the firm. They work very hard to compensate people, bring in good talent, reward achievement and offer training.
Cons
They do not do command and control very well. They have great room for improvement and change but while they may have very talented people recommend the "right solution" they may be their own worse enemy by not following through in areas of efficiency and cost savings. They hesitate to make solid rules and enforce them; ones that could improve the business. Being a partnership is a negative because there are no mandates like buying from one source or following policies that would promote process improvement.
