Going down hill...

Pros

Great people - though the workforce is becoming much more remote-based. Flexibility in locations and work/life balance was great in the past.

Cons

Lack of cohesive strategy or leadership. Poor internal communication. No clear role definitions between team members. Deteriorating quality in management. Planning and preparation is going down hill fast.

Cons

Lot of HCL employees who are mangers...they don't understand the difference b/w the real MNC and other.. People working under a manager are treated as saravana stores employees..where an employee is literally a slave..mangers compete with employees..Mangers get jealous if you work well...i have never seen this kinda of behaviour.

Pros

Nothing really to say, some of the co-workers are pretty cool that is about it.

Cons

Worked in Austin office for about a year. Dell is inarguably one of the most notorous company to work for. Client laptop and PC division were crumbling at that time and moral was low. Argument and fight between co-workers are common as well as gossip. Even outsiders in Austin area know Dell is a "rough place" to work. In large corporations, certain amount of politics do exists to some degree and Dell is no exception but politics has run its course even at the lowest engineering level therefore you constantly work to solve interpersonal issues and rarely work on technical stuff. Firing is common, when people are terminated, the company directory displays them as "terminated" dragging the terminated employee through mud.
