I am not sure what the other reviewer was talking about, this place is great! I came here really to work with other top notch colleagues that I worked with in the past at another big name engineering company here in Albany. I was not looking for the same old tired A/E company deal in the local Albany NY market, been there/ done that - lots of firms with big names lure you in with big fat promises and a couple dollars more an hour and treat you like crap in the end. What I wasn't expecting was that DPS treats their people much better than any other company I know and has great benefits. They act more like a small company where there is an open door policy with management and you can actually talk one on one with the CEO or CFO - and they remember your name! So unlike all the other US companies I have worked for where you are treated like a robot! I have had the chance since being here for last 2 years to work on 3 large, high profile, groundbreaking advanced technology projects in NY including SolarCity in Buffalo NY. The office is beautiful. DPS has delivered on all their promises to me, can't speak for others - you get out what you put in. Since it is an Irish company, we have a few folks from Ireland here and the after work activities and socialization between the Yanks and the Paddies is really a lot of fun. They are still building the operation here, so if you can thrive in an environment where it changes fast and you sometimes have to stretch outside your comfort zone and be challenged, the rewards are there. And we have fun doing it....

It is not appropriate to state a positive point as the experience was particularly negative. I did work with some nice people at DPS, but the ones that are bad are the worst I've come across.
