Pros

- Intro to USAID - Opportunities to learn operations and new business - Potential for field STTAs - Great colleagues and affinity groups are helping lead diversity and inclusion efforts

Cons

- slow upward mobility in some regions; employees are put up for promotion by PMs but it does not materialize - poor work-life balance - required to use annual leave for federal holidays - opportunities for technical work experience are scarce - Pressure to do new business in order to grow at the company - Many Associates are overworked, especially those that are high performing. A number of them end up quitting and get higher salaries for the same SOW at other companies.
