Pros

This is the place where you can start your 1st job with 0 experience, 2nd job or even 3rd. The possibilities of getting knowledge on all fronts is endless. The people are 98% awesome and managers supportive professionally and with your work/life balance. I grew immensely here and got some new friends on the long run as well. Pretty healthy work place and would recommend.

Cons

The automatisations are definitely missing, the company relies on its multi-developed managers to maintain great façade towards the clients, whilst their multiskilledteam members deal with manual tasks and everyday crisis. Multiple great employees left as they got tired of overworking whilst the pay stayed pretty much the same. Basically, the executive managers are cutting corners for a buck more. This is not in Europe, but Asia and Northern America as well. This constant promise without acting upon it, as new technology will be developed, to actually simplify the life of the employees and not actually increasing it (the latter happens quite often) is getting a lot of people frustrated over time. But this is where ideas and creativity come togethwr and you gain a lot of experience:) on everything

Pros

Conduent offers strong onboarding, clear expectations, and robust training materials. This is especially helpful if you're new to customer service or phone-based support. I appreciated the structured routine, timely communication from trainers, and the early focus on scripts, note-taking, and active listening skills. The resources were there.

Cons

But once training ends, the reality can hit hard. The work is repetitive, call volumes can be extreme, and the support system falters under pressure. Supervisors are available but often stretched thin, and real-time guidance during live calls can be inconsistent. You are expected to be highly self-sufficient, even when navigating complex or emotionally charged customer issues. If you're not mentally prepared, burnout is likely. Pacing is strict, breaks are timed, and even stepping away for a breather becomes a stressor. The emotional labor, especially in programs like EBT support, requires more recognition and empathy from leadership.
