      Pros

      I have encountered a lot of high quality individuals with a lot of knowledge who are very willing to share their expertise. Being at the cutting edge of technology, employees are exposed to new processes and systems regularly which keeps skills current in the market place.

      Cons

      Capgemini is a large company with a complex matrix organization structure. While there is a lot of information available to assist with onboarding, understanding your niche and where you fit can be time consuming and difficult to figure out. Processes are also changing regularly so it is difficult to understand how we are supposed to be approaching things. The time to get onboarded and up and running is proving to take longer than I had hoped.

      Pros

      Review of South East Asia Offices - Great culture / team (you feel the community) - Empowered to have your "own voice" in projects, great environment to learn by doing - Higher than industry average compensation Review of Global Capgemini Invent - Strong growth in the business consulting unit (Invent) as recognised in the market and Capgemini's overall share price - Currently moving towards "new era" of consulting ( combination of digital, data, design, strategy, innovation etc.)

      Cons

      Review South East Asia Offices - Not as mature as European offices (but currently being heavily invested in to grow) - Currently in transition stage of moving from new entrant in the region to a mature player - Not a strong brand yet in Asia though strong globally Review of Global Capgemini Invent - Need to improve brand marketing globally and not just Europe - Currently transition of moving to new operating model and finishing integration of new acquisitions

      Pros

      If you're good/engaged, you'll be put in stretched roles and learn ("entrepreneurial spirit", aka do it yourself) Group has broad capabilities you can leverage for interesting work A few strong leaders

      Cons

      Compensation is under-market, and generally low benefits (eg. parental leaves: 6 weeks primary care-giver /2 weeks secondary) A range of mediocre colleagues (all levels, with a special mention to HR) who stay & drag the organization down Hard to work with other Group capabilities (salespeople KPIs aren't aligned & very different cultures from management consulting to IT/Applications services) Really poor Knowledge Management (i.e. hard to re-use previous work/learnings)
