Pros

Lots of FS projects which means you can learn a lot about the banking industry. Great working level people who are mostly young, child-less and fun (average age is 26-27) Lots of chances for business development because the leadership is not meeting targets, so you will be forced to keep finding projects or BD (may sound bad but its a lot of learning opportunities) The social events are quite fun with a hardworking fun loving group of young people Only join this company if you feel confident in navigating people politics and are unaffected by the gossip or feedback There are really good hardworking leaders and people here, just concentrate on the work, get the experience then leave before you need to get tangled up in politics

Cons

1. Those who speak French or demonstrate loyalty often find favor. To thrive in this setting, you would need to be close to those who have influence in the leadership team. 2. There is an observed lack of a coaching culture within the organization. Employees who make errors may find themselves on a watchlist, with potential consequences if performance does not meet expectations. It appears that certain individuals receive preferential treatment, particularly those who possess strong interpersonal skills or positive appearances, regardless of their technical qualifications for advancement. 3. Promotions sometimes seem to be based on perceptions rather than measurable skills or performance indicators, especially at higher levels. This inconsistency can create challenges. . There's a notable variation in expertise and competency across the leadership team. 4. Overt focus on selling with no avenue for well being activities. Not people centric at all.
