Third rate consultancy who have rebranded but still think like management consultants from 2005
Pros
Technology arm (apps) does allow for implementation of ideas and strategies. Breadth of company means by a law of averages there are some good people, but the most dynamic leave after a couple of years to go to found their own thing, to startups or genuine tech companies (GAFAM).
Cons
- trying to play upstream but the majority of talent is 5-10 years behind the curve ie builds slides with too many words on them and hides a lack of real insight into a problem behind jargon. - wants to keep with strategy houses and has made a number of acquisitions (frog, idean etc) but has killed them with a rigid culture. Massive waste of money and talent - Capgemini as a Brand invokes big tech projects, bad UX, too many project managers. Behind Accenture in this space and now where near a strategy house.
