      Be careful not to accept too many resource augmentation roles for staff, clarity over promotion decisions

      • really great opportunities to work on a variety of projects • you meet lots of new people every project round • everyone learned to work well virtually

      Cons

      • they make it extremely difficult to move up through grades • you're not allowed to entertain a promotion unless you have reached a very hard percentage to reach in your utilization numbers • out of date benefits; ie, non-equal parental leave, not much PTO, the minimum amount of statutory leave, poor access to understanding what benefits you might have • hr administration is fairly rude and unsupportive

      - Great lower-level colleagues and atmosphere - Good work-life balance

      Cons

      - Below average compensation - Nepotism to rise through the ranks, it seems that you will be promoted based on how well (senior) management likes you rather than your actual performance. - Most projects are bodyshop, there are almost no strategy projects so consultants are staffed for a very long period or they are staffed in projects that are not well-defined and thus not within their expertise/interest. - Organizational support is rather amateuristic and opportunistic. Not adequately supported and trained whenever you start on a new project.
