Great place to work

Pros

So much opportunities to learn and build your own path. Great people to work with, can throw ideas constantly around.

Cons

Long hours, need to figure out everything by yourself because everyone is so busy. When dealing with process internally it's a bit of a mind field, and no one seems to know how to help or support so they ask you to figure it out your self. I guess that's how you learn.

Pros

People are great, projects can be good and have had no bench time

Cons

Progression incredibly hard with not great explanation of process or support, very dependent on your manager and who you know over actual experience

Pros

Capgemini truly embodies its commitment to enabling employees to achieve the future they aspire to, and this ethos is strongly reflected within the VPD community. The organisation provides robust support for employee wellbeing, including measures to prevent burnout and tailored assistance for parents with young children. Promotion pathways are designed to be transparent and equitable, with active efforts to mitigate confirmation bias and other forms of unconscious bias.

Cons

- Current travel restrictions can sometimes pose challenges in maintaining close collaboration between teams across different geographies within the UK, potentially impacting efficiency and alignment. - There are instances of silos within the group, where overlapping capabilities exist. This can occasionally lead to duplication of effort or a lack of clarity in ownership, which might affect cohesion and overall effectiveness.
