Great company to work for

Pros

- Great training opportunities - got a chance to visit their campus in France to a 3 day workshop on how to be a better consultant. Healthy training budget for certs - Good mix of projects - Capgemini is a big company with projects in a variety of sectors, I don't feel like I am tied to one client/area nor do I think I would get bored. - Good pay increases - Got a £5k increase in 3 months to align with cost of living and London base for my role. - Good and transparent management - I feel my BU is always transparent on what's going on in the business.

Cons

- Long hours - I feel like some days the days are long, especially on bid work. - Slow Progression - requirements and evidence needed to prove this could put some people off, especially if you're super busy. - Pressure to do internal work - Tying into the previous point, I feel there is a pressure to do internal work to prove your worth. Sometimes you are looked down if you're not contributing despite being super busy on client side work. - Comp: I still feel that the base pay could be better, especially as it is quite confusing to new starters. Ex. 50k is really 46k as the 4k is taken for company benefits. C2 also do not get bonuses which is something my previous firm had regardless of level.

Pros

Culture is unmatched. The people are amazing, caring, knowledgeable and experienced. Its an inspiring workforce to be part of. Benefits are strong, leadership in the most part is visionary and supportive. There are lots of opportunities for growth and self-development. Engagements are challenging and support, guidance and learning is available when needed

Cons

Workload - it is extremely busy but I am also acutely aware that this is Industry wide at the moment.

Cons

- French leadership pays no real attention to building the NA brand - Accretive approach to growth without a clear strategy - A new North America CEO pretty much every year for each year I was there - It was Game of Thrones in the boardroom
