Cons

No job security. We hear rumours every quarters about Layoffs and all rumours come true. CA Technologies employees faced it a lot after acquisition. One day I suddenly got info about my layoff and same day is my last working day.

Great cafeteria, gym on site.

Cons

Frown upon working from home, upper management makes many micro-management decisions that pull the rug out from underneath you, and they solve problems to increase the bottom-line instead of the other way around.

Pros

Decent bonuses (if your division meets its goals) & RSUs, fine benefits (but worse than CA's), 401k match up to a certain point, Rally still values work-life balance.

Cons

They are a hardware company and have no interest in meeting the needs of a modern software company. They don't have much empathy for humans & the values of the broader company are very money-centric. We've lost a lot of people and are losing more because we're being forced to move to Broomfield from Denver and Boulder. That puts pressure on the business unit and every individual and forces continual, often difficult change. Rally still has some great people, but it is being forced to be a much more corporate culture.
